101 Reasons to Switch to the Mac was written before the release of the revolutionary iPhone — back when Apple products were being used by relatively few people. Pearson ultimately released it as an ebook-only title, but it still did quite well — and continued to sell copies long after the content was hopelessly dated.
In writing this book, I applied everything I’d learned about writing beginner-level books to the subject of personal technology. Chapters are deliberately very short. The tone is personal and familiar — even funny. The table of contents divides the content into approachable chunks: hardware here, software here, experiences here.
The result? A solid work and a solid seller — and a title that still makes me proud.
