This comprehensive guide provides clear, step-by-step instructions for every aspect of reading Tarot. Reviewers consistently rate it as one of the best introductory books on Tarot available.

And what a learning experience for me! Que Books discontinued the “Absolute Beginners” series before this book hit stores; as a result, the book received no promotion or marketing of any kind. Worse, because Que specializes in mass-market computer and technology books, their sellers didn’t work with the small, metaphysical shops where The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Tarot would have found its audience.

Writing the book taught me the value of getting input from multiple readers. Editors at Que shared the manuscript with tarot experts, card-reading novices, and individuals with no interest in tarot at all — and everyone single one of them gave us feedback that dramatically improved the final product.

Out of print before it was released (!), but used copies are still available on
