Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Tarot

Written by Mark McElroy

Ah, the sweet sadness of my “lost book.” I had such high hopes for this one! But right before the ABG to Tarot came out, downsizing at Que shut the series down.

The book was released, but with zero marketing support. Que refused to distribute the book to independent metaphysical shops, where it needed to be to connect with its primary audience. The few folks who grabbed a copy contacted me to say it was the very best introduction to Tarot they had ever come across, which helped my feelings.

Used and remaindered copies sometimes sell online for $50.00 or more! (Not a cent of that goes to me, by the way.) But good news: I took the very best of this book and worked it into two shorter books: A Guide to Tarot Card Reading and A Guide to Tarot Card Meanings. These are in print … buying them saves you money … and doing so also supports my work as an independent author. Thanks for your interest!
