Made us of this blustery, rainy day by investing a morning in the sights and sounds of the M+, Hong Kong’s Global Museum of Contemporary Culture.

Seen above:
- Clyde was very happy to arrive after a long walk through an infinite mall and a short trot along a windswept stretch of open construction.
- Even the signage for the museum was cool! Here, a list of exhibits wraps itself around an ultra-high-definition screen that, in turn, is wrapped around a column.
- Iconic harbor shot.
- Artist Yue Minjun’s “laughing man” dominates an entire room, where the artist has arranged life-size versions of the figurine in a pattern that recalls the famous terracotta warriors.
- Despite signs telling people to “Stay off Bridge” we saw entire families traipsing onto it for photographs.
- Not sure what this artist is saying about the American economy.
- Next time you’re bored at home, try making a hyper-realistic image of your gas store burner.
- Chiharu Shiota’s Infinite Memory program includes this disturbing red dress suspended among what seems like an infinite forest of red threads. Just waking through the room tossed our brains off-balance.
- We saw this guy walking through the gravel this art installation incorporates … which is a good thing, since the artists invites you to do so.
- Even the lines of the floors and escalators are artistic at the M+.
