No longer relevant today (mostly because tourism to Cuba was shut down almost as quickly as it was allowed!), this book offered first-time cruisers my detailed travel notes from our cruise with the now-defunct Fathom cruise line.
Focusing on a very specific travel experience allowed me to offer first-hand insights on both the cruise ship experience and the exotic destination. This was my first self-published book … so I learned a lot from the process and was encouraged to continue experimenting with self-publishing.
It’s still available — just in case you want to complete your “Mark McElroy collection” — but as a travel book from 2016, its practical value is limited.
